Chicken Curry

Chicken Curry

1 chicken (1.35 kg or 3 lb)
2 tablespoons curry powder or massala
salt and pepper to taste
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
2 tablespoons flour
ghee or oil for frying
2 cups of water
few blades of chives
few garden tomatoes

Use a large pot with good fitting lid.

Clean, cut off skin and cut chicken into small pieces.

Put oil in cooking pot, heat up then add garlic, chopped onions, curry powder and the chicken pieces to brown, stirring often.

Then add the water, tomatoes and the rest of the other items. Cover and let it simmer until tender. Stir often!
